About Project
This was a game developed for the Fall 2019, CSE 440, Game Design course at CSUSB. The project was to create a video game during the 10 week course in Unity. This game was developed in 3D with a team of 10 (5 programmers, 2 artists, 2 musicians). The game is an open world, action adventure game with influences from games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game features a full third person character movement system, an environmental puzzle system, and a combat system. Full play time is around 5-10 minutes (restricted due to final presentation demonstration time). The player begins in a village and is tasked with completing 3 challenges using the skills provided to them. The 3 challenges are open to any form of completion. The players are to utilize the 3 systems provided to them to find their own solution to each challenge.
I was the character creator and modeler for the project. I designed multiple characters and weapons which I then used to recreate them in a low-poly 3D style.
