Senior 3D VR Artist - California State University: San Bernardino

My Responsibilites

At the XReal lab, I worked as a 3D Artist supporting faculty and instructional designers in integrating immersive and interactive technologies into curriculum. Projects spanned VR simulation development, 3D scanning workflows, and content creation for academic and public-facing events. I collaborated with cross-functional teams and schools to produce real-time assets and interactive content.

    3D & Technical Art

  • 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation for real-time and cinematic use
  • Creation of 2D/3D animations and integration of motion capture data
  • Worked with MetaHuman for realistic character development
  • Built NeRFs (Neural Radiance Fields) for spatial reconstruction

    XR & Game Engine Development

  • Developed VR simulations for PCVR and Android (APK) platforms
  • Created and managed immersive environments in Unreal Engine 4/5 and Unity
  • Designed collaborative virtual spaces using Mozilla Hubs

    Scanning & Emerging Tech

  • Operated and processed data from Artec 3D Scanners, Trimble 3D Laser Scanners, and Hololens
  • Cleaned and optimized 3D scan data for use in interactive environments
  • Collaborated with other schools and teams to develop 3D assets for live demos and academic events

    Hardware Experiences

  • HTC Vive, Oculus Rift S, Oculus Quest / Quest 2, Quest Pro, Microsoft Hololens
  • Strong familiarity with cross-platform testing and optimization
This role provided hands-on experience with a wide range of real-time tools and XR technologies, aligned with workflows used in professional game and immersive media production.
